ECMC Foundation granted me the opportunity to share my transfer story to the public. As a non-traditional college and first-generation college student, I reflect on surviving the transfer maze. With resources from Campaign for College Opportunity and ECMC Foundation, I translated my feelings and experiences into words that could be shared with the entire community. 

engagement strategy

ECMC Foundation partnered with Road Trip Nation to develop a film about community college students traveling across the nation in hopes of finding their career and educational pathway: One Step Closer. To market the film and engage the community, they created a page, Share Your Road, where people could share their stories to the community both organizations built. I was tasked with designing an engagement strategy that would market this platform to the public and encourage open dialogue from people of all different backgrounds.
